Tien pagoda

Tien pagoda is located in the heart of Dai Tuong mountain, in the Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city, about 1 km from the center of Lang Son city.

Besides the name of Tien pagoda, another name is Song Tien. The cave is located in the heart of the mountain of Dai statue, a large cave, a high arch, wide; In the thousands of stalactites have formed a variety of images. All shimmering, lively like in a fairy world.

According to historical sources, Tien Pagoda was founded in the reign of Le Hong Duc (around 1460 - 1497). Originally a small pagoda located next to the Well on the side of the mountain pass Giang - Van Vien (about 200m from the rear of the temple). Later, in the second half of the 18th century, due to degradation, the pagoda was moved into the Song Tien cave.

Tien pagoda has an epitaph system with 13 chewing pints. This is an important source of historical relics and valuable literature by poets and officials under the ancient Vietnamese feudal archives. The main content is to admire beautiful scenery of the mountain statue and record the restoration of ancient monuments. This is one of 8 beautiful scenes praised by Ngô Thì Sỹ in his poem "Trấn Doanh Bát cảnh".
